Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations on the construction site to ensure project progress and adherence to timelines.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld.
Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
Conduct regular inspections of the work site to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any project-related concerns.
Maintain accurate records of project expenses, schedules, and changes to the scope of work.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes throughout the construction process.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
