Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of cloud engineers to design, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions across the enterprise.
Define the strategic roadmap for cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, security, and software development to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Establish cloud governance, security standards, and best practices for cloud deployments and operations.
Drive continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure efficiency, cost optimization, and system performance.
Partner with senior leadership to communicate cloud strategy, progress, and key initiatives.
Oversee the development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and cloud-native applications.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee the selection of cloud service providers and tools.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in cloud engineering or a similar role.
Proven experience managing large-scale cloud environments, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure design (e.g., microservices, containers, serverless computing).
Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies.
Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization techniques.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing high-performing engineering teams.
