One of our Biotech customers is seeking a highly motivated and talented Tech Transfer Engineer to join their dynamic team!
Engineer - Technology Transfer (Mid-Level)
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Duration: 2 Years (with possibility of extension)
Schedule: Onsite 3 days/week; 8 AM - 5 PM (flexibility and potential OT during peak season)
About the Role:
Join a dynamic team at a leading Biotech as a Mid-Level Engineer focused on Technology Transfer for Drug Product (DP) manufacturing. This is an exciting opportunity to support and lead project schedules, manage documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our drug product processes. You will play a crucial role in the transfer of processes and technologies between sites, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively in a GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Tech Transfer project scheduling activities for DP.
Own and maintain essential documentation, including Project Plans, Process Transfer Documents (PTD), Protocols, and reports.
Assist engineers with Make-a-Batch (M-a-B) activities, ensuring alignment between sending and receiving sites.
Develop and track project dashboards to provide timely updates.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration.
Apply project management skills to complex projects, contributing to new product introductions and manufacturing initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
2-3 years of experience in the Pharma/Biotech/Medical Device industry, particularly in a Combination Product field.
Strong knowledge of project management principles and tools (experience with MS Project, SmartSheets preferred).
Understanding of regulatory requirements and design controls on a global scale.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to risk assessment and management.
Qualifications:
Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree with 6 years of experience OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of experience.
Experience with complex projects involving new product introductions, equipment, and processes.
PMP certification is desired but not mandatory.
