Great opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to work for a leading manufacturer of Building Products in Northern Charlotte, NC.
Our client is a global building products leader looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to identify, develop, and implement process improvement projects through automation implementation.
Additional Responsibilities
Leading automation projects that deliver products and processes of validated consistent quality.
Implementing lessons learned and best practices in the form of poke yoke processes.
Determines priority of multiple project options that give the most value by thorough analysis utilizing lean and six sigma tools.
Supports manufacturing operations to ensure uninterrupted quality production.
Improve profitability with emphasis on completion/introduction prior to a new product launch or equipment start-up.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be qualified to perform as technical expert for manufacturing processes for the factory.
Manage new or modified machine upgrade projects, responsible for all phases of machine introduction into production, timing plan, identify manning requirements, identify products to run on machine, training plan.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in engineering or engineering technology.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial engineering role.
Automation and robotics Kuka/CMA experience preferred.
Control systems and PLC programming primarily Allen Bradley studio 500
