Responsibilities:
Develops win strategies and fee proposals for medium-to-large projects, adjusting as needed.
Leads complex conceptual estimates and design-build bid submissions for key clients.
Creates budget strategies that protect both the company's and the client's interests, and participates in ongoing budget updates.
Monitors project design and working drawings for budget alignment, constructability, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Completes as-bid estimates and works with operations to develop procurement strategies.
Builds strong relationships with clients and design teams.
Oversees estimates for multiple projects and clients.
Supports change management and leads or assists in negotiations with owners and contractors.
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in engineering, related field, or equivalent trade experience.
Over 10 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating.
Led a pursuit valued at $300M+ across various delivery models.
Experience with complex pursuits and contract terms.
Proven ability to manage relationships with clients and design teams.
Broad experience estimating multiple scopes and familiarity with key products and systems.
Ability to advance technology and innovation in estimating workflows.
