Our client has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer. The position requires at least 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a consulting environment. Professional registration (PE) is required.
The successful candidate will design and review process piping, commercial and military aircraft fuel storage pumps and systems, HVAC and plumbing systems, prepare and review plans and specifications, and participate in construction management. The position requires strong technical and design calculation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with people.
Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit is required. Experience with military and/or federal projects is highly desirable.
Candidate must be authorized to work in the US and must be capable of obtaining a Defense Security Clearance.
