We are working closely with our Central Ohio client to identify a Power BI Data Analyst. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports using Power BI
Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data models, and develop data visualizations that provide insights into complex data sets
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions to support decision-making
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in data, and provide actionable insights to drive business growth and optimize performance
Manage data governance and data quality, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Communicate data insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Continuously improve the usability and functionality of the business intelligence platform, and stay up-to-date with Power BI advancements and best practices
Provide training and support to end-users, and promote data literacy across the organization
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data analysis
2+ years of experience in Power BI development
Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization best practices
Proficient in SQL, with experience in data warehousing and ETL processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
Experience in data governance and data quality management
