Experience/Responsibilities of the right candidate:
8+ years of Solutions Architecture experience.
5+ years of experience in SFDC Architecture.
Experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services.
Experience with cross-cloud Salesforce (SFDC) implementations integrated with other cloud (Workday) and on-premises systems (Employee Benefits, AMS platform).
Experience with non-profit cloud.
Awareness of platform-specific design considerations such as large data volumes, allocation limits, and data migration
Knowledge of software design principles
Ability to communicate solutions to a variety of technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Strong business acumen
Strong knowledge of the SFDC Data Model across various clouds/products and significant data modeling experience.
Ability to identify technical design risks.
Ability to collaborate with internal technical teams to implement solution.
Create prototypes and proofs of concept to aid in defining requirements.
Create required documentation including technical specifications, system architecture, deployment procedures, and any necessary developer documentation for proposed solutions.
Map business requirements to Salesforce capabilities, determining when custom solutions are necessary.
Lead or participate in the definition and prioritization/scoping of business and functional requirements and project sizing.
Architect and deliver a robust data model that supports project requirements.
Assist with the purchase and design of a new Salesforce implementation.
Will interface with stakeholders to garner understanding of business objectives, propose purchase and implementation strategy.
