Position: Desktop Support Technician
Location: Gainesville, GA
Pay Rate Range: $17-18/hr. (paid weekly)
Project Description: This will be a two-week migration project for a large IT client we are supporting. In this position, you will be responsible for providing onsite migration support, and providing support to employees as needed. The project is ONLY from 11/10-11/23. Candidates will work all 14 days (no time off during the 2-week project). The number of hours worked each day will fluctuate. Candidates must be available to work between the hours of 8AM-8PM.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
Arrive onsite at the appointed time
Site Lead Check-in with the onsite POC
Locate equipment and determine your work area (POC will let us know)
Taking inventory of equipment (new and old)
Capturing Serial #'s
Unboxing new equipment and disposing of trash in designated areas
Assisting end users with login and setup of desktop environment
Outlook signatures
One Drive Sync
Browser favorites
M365 application functionality
Application verification
Verifying print options
Network and/or local (not everyone will have local)
Take directions from onsite lead or FTE (full time employee)
Reporting hours worked in real time
Check in when you arrive
Check out before you leave (lead will release)
Escalate any issue immediately to your site lead

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Good communication and reading skills
Ability to follow instructions
Technical aptitude/familiarity - no necessary experience needed
