Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Pontiac, IL (Onsite)

Employment Type: Fulltime Permanent with AXISCADES.

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for daily engineering drawings maintenance, creating prototype drawings, and 3D printing. This role significantly contributes to manufacturing process improvement and validation while providing daily support to quality and operation teams.

Job Responsibilities

Maintain and update engineering drawings daily.

Create prototype drawings and engage in 3D printing.

Improve and validate manufacturing processes.

Provide daily support to quality and operation teams.

Troubleshoot issues on the shop floor and lab, focusing on manufacturing processes and prototype validation.

Collaborate with the quality/production engineering team to validate new processes and PCNs.

Education & Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.

5-7 years of experience required.

Technical Skills Required

Creativity, verbal and written communication skills.

Analytical and problem-solving ability.

Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer generated reports.

Experience with CAD software.

Technical Skills Desired

Advanced CAD software skills.

Experience in advanced manufacturing technologies.

Soft Skills

Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas.

Team player and detail-oriented.
