A publicly traded medical technology company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor for their rapidity expanding Surgical division in Austin, TX. Their facility features over 70,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and distribution space dedicated to delivering top-quality, patient-centered solutions for total joint arthroplasty. Responsibilities
Lead operational activities to achieve goals in safety, quality, output, and cost.
Prioritize customer orders based on product launches, equipment efficiency, and material availability.
Plan and manage procedures and budgets, making recommendations for capital expenditures and labor.
Develop schedules and labor requirements for assigned areas.
Select, develop, and evaluate personnel for efficient operations.
Receive assignments as goals and determine processes to achieve them.
Direct subordinates on work assignments following established guidelines and policies.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards in production and quality control.
Work with ERP system (Oracle) to facilitate transactions and basic reporting.
Participate in production and capacity planning.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership
Prior experience in a regulated environment such as medical devices, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, or aerospace.
Clean room manufacturing experience preferred.
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
