Pay $32 - $34.29 per hr. DOE - On-site

The Role The Procurement Operations Processor (Temporary) will be responsible for supporting procurement activities at AIRM. Reporting into the head of Facilities, the Procurement Operations Processor will input data for purchase orders for procurement of goods, supplies, services and contracts across non-GMP departments. The Procurement Operations Processor will primarily work closely with the supply chain analyst and warehouse to smoothly integrate the purchase order processes using advanced Excel functions. To be successful, the incumbent will be highly process and detail oriented, able to collaborate and communicate with key business partners, and possess excellent technical skills with an customer-centric attitude.

Responsibilities:
  • Creates purchase requisition and processes purchase orders, in accordance with documented processes.
  • Communicate with Management and Stakeholders regarding purchase order status; manage orders through completion.
  • Work directly with scientists/researchers ensuring materials are available.
  • Will work with pilot testers to continue program roll-out.
  • Maintains a high level of quality and compliance with regards to all aspects of purchasing.
  • Provides excellent customer service response and timely response to internal and external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ years' experience working in a supply chain, administrative or financial operations position
  • Proven ability to establish priorities, work independently, and execute objectives without supervision.
  • Strong collaboration, negotiation and technical skills.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Detail-oriented and completes work in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Ability to prioritize, make rapid decisions and adjust to changing needs and timelines.
  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills. Operates with transparency.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Analytical with strong problem-solving skills, some basic knowledge of VBA Macros. SAP/Ariba experience.
  • Pharmaceutical/Medical Device experience.
