Director of Operations will lead HR functions and oversee technology, accounting, and day-to-day design studio operations.

Education and Experience
HR generalist, with at least ten years of experience
Experience in an architecture or design firm a plus
Bachelor's degree required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources
Manage recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of staff and consultants.
Process payroll and liaise with payroll provider.
Act as point person for employee relations and support; answer questions/resolve issues ranging from payroll and benefits to medical and parental leave to organizational policies.
Oversee performance management process.
Address performance issues.
Support the professional development of team members.
With the Partners, promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement that values transparency and open team-member communication.
Technology
Ensure that staff have access to the technology they need, and make recommendations when warranted.
Oversee outsourced IT function and ensure technology uptime.
Accounting
Oversee AR/AP bookkeeper and provide regular financial reports to the partners.
Monthly invoice process
Sales tax on services, for services and goods sold across multiple US states and countries
Oversee Decorative/Interiors Inventory procurement & sale process, via Studio Design software.
Studio Operations
Oversee receptionist/office manager.
Serve as liaison with building management.
Legal
Review of project contracts as it relates to invoicing process and billing cycle
Ensure compliance with insurance and professional licensure requirements of projects
Oversight of required reporting related to Florida and New York incorporation
Job Location: Onsite in Pensacola, with periodic visits to New York studio
