Leadership & Management: Oversee direct line management and support activities, including manufacturing floor inspection, engineering, materials management, and safety/environmental engineering.
Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce manufacturing policies, controls, and procedures to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Budget & Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage annual budgets for all departments, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
Team Management: Supervise Manufacturing Managers across Molding, Stamping, Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, and Customer Service/Planning.
Operational Planning: Create and execute manufacturing plans based on sales forecasts and shop orders to deliver defect-free, on-time products.
Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and New Product Development to stay updated on current and future product plans.
Inventory & Material Management: Maintain optimal material and parts inventories to meet production schedules while minimizing costs.
Quality & Problem Solving: Partner with tooling/engineering teams to resolve product quality and manufacturing issues, identifying cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Eight (8) + years of precision manufacturing experience (molding, stamping, etc.).
Ten (10) years in a management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in computerized manufacturing systems.
