Empowered Staffing is partnered with a renowned Nursing and Healthcare College dedicated to providing students with the highest quality education, focusing on certifications and licenses in the healthcare industry. They are looking for a Nursing Program Director to join the school to oversee the Practical Nursing program and help students thrive in their academic and future careers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instruct assigned courses following course competencies/objectives.
Design and implement teaching strategies that will assist a nursing student in meeting the course objectives or outcomes.
Communicate with students regularly and timely.
Utilize feedback from course evaluations to identify professional development needs and to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Develop and implement student evaluation methods and tools for each course that measure the progression of the student's cognitive, affective, and psychomotor achievement of course and clinical outcomes based on published rubrics and sound rationale.
Evaluate student achievement of curricular outcomes related to nursing knowledge and practice.
Participate in academic and professional level activities that maintain the faculty member's competency and professional expertise in the area of teaching responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
An MSN (Master's in Nursing) degree is required with at least 2 years of teaching experience.
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
Current, active, unencumbered Kentucky RN license or compact state.
