Collect data, analyses trends, gaps and with that information, designs, develops, and implements training in-house or identifies and contracts with external training resources.
Benchmark actual workstation production sequence/conditions against current job-task list and training program materials
Work with local Manufacturing Leadership teams to drive the direction and effectiveness of divisional manufacturing training. Ensuring team members are trained using a consistent method aligned with Standard Work and other Continuous Improvement methods.
Coordinate and participate in the selection of Training Champions and Process Trainers. Creates a Trainer Certification process, qualifying production line personnel as On-the-Job trainers
Establish and prioritize needed training improvements within product lines; develop manufacturing training curriculum and facilitate "train the trainer" classes
Support the creation or update of Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), Job Breakdowns (JB), and Single Point Lessons (SPLs) for CI and Operations to enable continuous creation of training packets.
Develops, coordinates, and conducts training curriculum based on training needs to include skill development programs for departmental employees.
Conducts training assessments and surveys to measure training program effectiveness.
REQUIREMENT:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
5+ Years of experience in developing programs in Technology, Aerospace, Military and ITAR industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, Power point) and SAP.
