The team at Edge Staffing has partnered with a client in the Life Sciences industry in Waltham, MA in their search for a Senior Lab Computing Analyst.
The ideal candidate for this will have an instrumentation background and experience in documented lab environments. You'll need strong consulting skills and the ability to analyze customer needs to propose solutions that enhance laboratory IT operations.
This role involves providing both analytical and technical support within a multi-vendor instrument environment, as well as assisting with validation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite lab IT support, including multivendor instrument and information technology services.
Deliver requirements management and validation/compliance support (IOPQ) as needed.
Act as a customer liaison, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate services.
Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
Assist in building process improvement plans based on industry best practices.
Facilitate demos and evaluate vendor solutions as Proof of Concept.
Conduct weekly planning sessions and operational review meetings.
Requirements:
Experience in laboratory instrumentation and documented lab environments.
Strong background in IT consulting, with an ability to assess and improve lab operations.
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices for lab IT optimization.
Experience in validation and compliance processes within lab settings.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with customers and stakeholders.
