Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AUTOSAR VIP (Boot Micro) Developer to contribute to the development, integration, and configuration of critical software components. The ideal candidate will work on ensuring robust boot microcontroller implementations and vehicle processor (VIP) integration, following AUTOSAR standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of microcontroller and AUTOSAR platform integration.

Responsibilities:

Boot Micro / VIP Development:

Develop and integrate software for microcontrollers, ensuring proper initialization, memory configuration, and flash routines.

Contribute to the design and implementation of the VIP (Vehicle Processor) system, integrating AUTOSAR BSW components and ensuring reliable boot processes.

Develop software components for boot sequences.

AUTOSAR Integration:

Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW), RTE, and SWCs to meet VIP requirements.

Ensure proper initialization of hardware and software components during the boot process, with a focus on system stability.

Maintain and optimize boot and VIP software for high-performance vehicle applications.

Integrate/Adapt AUTOSAR-compliant communication stacks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) with VIP systems.

Tool Chain and Configuration:

Use AUTOSAR configuration tools (Vector DaVinci) to configure the bootloader and VIP systems.

Support in the calibration, memory partitioning, and optimization of the microcontroller boot process.

System Validation & Troubleshooting:

Perform system-level debugging and validation to ensure the correct operation of the VIP software.

Conduct testing and validation of software using industry-standard testing tools and methodologies.

Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with systems engineering, and software teams to align VIP designs with vehicle system requirements.

Support other team members and stakeholders during the integration and testing phases.

Required Skills:

Boot Microcontroller / VIP Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of bootloader development for automotive microcontrollers (ARM, Infineon, Renesas, etc.).

Experience with microcontroller initialization, memory management, and flash programming.

Strong understanding of Vehicle In Processor (VIP) systems and integration with AUTOSAR-based environments.

AUTOSAR Knowledge:

Extensive experience with AUTOSAR Classic platforms, particularly BSW, RTE, and SWCs.

Familiarity with AUTOSAR diagnostic protocols (UDS, OBD) and secure boot concepts.

Embedded Systems Proficiency:

Expertise in embedded C programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS).

Strong experience in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).

Debugging & Validation:

Proficient in debugging and testing tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and Lauterbach Trace32 for bootloader and VIP validation.

Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting system-level issues.

Collaboration & Communication:

Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and presentations.
