Job Title: Sr. Python Engineer - Big Data & Machine Learning Expertise
Job Type: Long-Term Contract
Location: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Python Developer with extensive experience in handling Big Data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming, as well as expertise in frameworks like Django or Flask. You will play a key role in developing robust solutions that manage and analyze large data sets.
Key Requirements
Experience: 8+ years of advanced Python programming, specifically in handling Big Data.
Frameworks: Proficient in Django and/or Flask.
Big Data Tools: Experience with PySpark for data processing.
Data Science: Familiarity with implementing data science algorithms.
Data Wrangling: Knowledge of data munging/wrangling techniques is a plus.
Libraries: Proficient with third-party Python libraries, including Pandas, Pyarrow, Numpy, etc.
Machine Learning: Experience with ML libraries such as scikit-learn.
APIs: Skilled in developing REST APIs that handle large volume data sets.
Database Systems: Experience with RDBMS systems and NoSQL stores (e.g., HBase, Cassandra).
Code Quality: Rigor in high-quality code, automated testing, and adherence to engineering best practices. Ability to write reusable code components.
Responsibilities
Collaborate continuously with various stakeholders and global teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
Coordinate with internal and external teams (onsite/offshore) as necessary.
Develop and maintain scalable Python applications for data processing and analysis.
Implement best practices in coding and testing to enhance code quality.
