Seafood Manager:
The Seafood Manager ensures that fresh and prepackaged seafood cases are maintained full and fresh. Works closely with seafood personnel on daily operations and promotes customer service.
Responsible for sales performance, financial results, and department conditions.
Extensive product knowledge.
Use hand tools efficiently with proper knife skills.
Order merchandise to maintain freshness and stock levels.
Product merchandising.
Utilizing daily sales data to reduce shrink by proper production output.
Use detailed reports on sales, profits, and trends to make purchasing decisions.
Train and develop department employees.
Adhere to all state, local and company policies and regulations on health and safety.
Work with leadership to execute and promote company directives and promotions/campaigns.
Seafood Manager Background Profile:
Minimum of 18 years of age.
High school Diploma or GED and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
Manager Food Safety certification required.
Food Handler certification required.
