The Asset Management team within A10 Capital monitors the ongoing loan performance of its growing commercial real estate bridge loan and life company loan portfolios while delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships in the commercial real estate market. To effectively manage our growing portfolio, we are seeking a talented and motivated Loan Servicing Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Loan Servicing Manager works within the Servicing & Asset Management team overseeing 2-3 Loan Servicing Administrators. The Servicing Manager is responsible for ensuring loan servicing processes are in compliance with the respective servicing agreements and guidelines. The Servicing Manager also acts as a liaison between accounting and servicing and is responsible for reviewing and approving various calculations. Servicing Manager will also work with various auditors throughout the year.

PRIMARY DUTIES
  • Review of loan documentation and ability to setup, modify, extend or renew loans on loan servicing system, including processing of corrective entries and resolution of technical issues
  • Oversee monthly invoicing and administration of monthly automated clearing house ("ACH") payments
  • Oversee team that monitors payment activity, property tax, insurance and other reporting requirements
  • Review and approve payoff calculations
  • Assist with processing and documentation of loan extensions, modifications and collateral swaps
  • Handling of confidential or sensitive documents related to outside customer information and internal company matters
  • Monitor, manage, and track all tasks in Loan Servicing to ensure quality assurance, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Create, review, and update policies/procedures
  • Manage servicing inquiries and review legal documents to ensure compliance
  • Obtain an in-depth understanding of the loan servicing system and how to research/resolve problems
  • Assist with various reporting requests (SQL experience preferred)
  • Coordinates audit requests and processes
  • Assist accounting with investor remittances, if needed

REQUISITES
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant capacity
  • Experience working within loan servicing systems and cloud-based document management
  • Undergraduate degree required, with business, finance, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confidence on the phone
  • Strong work ethic, with ability to work independently or part of a team
  • Solid understanding of Commercial Real Estate terminology and ability to digest legal documents
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to confirm
  • Friendly, constructive demeanor; works well with others
