Responsibilities:
Responsible for collection of open receivables and assist in executing effective strategies and initiatives to achieve continuous receivable delinquency improvement that contributes to a lower DSO
Closely work with customer service on order releases and dispute resolution
Assist sales in setting up new customers and AR reporting as needed
Ensures timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, questions, documentation issues, billing errors, payment application errors, and disputes
Assess creditworthiness of prospective and existing customers using trade reports and perform some level of financial analysis, when applicable
Prepare quarterly sales report for insurance purposes and evaluating credit limit requirements in a timely manner.
Actively work with internal and external auditors in providing support items
Prepare weekly and monthly cash forecasts
Assist the credit and finance manager with ad hoc projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields, desired
Two to five years of strong quantitative experience
SAP experience is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and general computer use
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to form and maintain client and business relationships
Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision
