Monitoring accounts: Identify overdue accounts and monitor customer accounts
Contacting customers: Reach out to customers with unpaid debts and attempt to collect payment
Developing repayment plans: Work with customers to create payment plans to collect overdue amounts
Maintaining records: Keep track of payment records and the financial status of accounts
Responding to customer queries: Answer customer questions and help with billing and credit problems
Negotiating: Use negotiation skills to come to agreements that benefit all parties
Customer Service:
Customer Relations Management
Ensures customer's needs and expectations are addressed within his/her department or section. (Customers can be students, external constituents, employees, or university guests.)
Mentors and guides department/section staff by sharing knowledge and best practices to appropriately respond to customer's requests.
Monitors staff interactions with customers for professional conduct, consistent application of university policies and procedures, and follow up of outstanding requests.
Assumes responsibility for addressing complex or unusual requests.
