A well-established leader in the financial services space is looking for a Category Manager to join their Strategic Sourcing department to cover the real estate and corporate services categories.
This role will focus on developing and managing strategies for the real estate and corporate services spend. You will interface with firms including but not limited to construction services, capital projects, architects, design, capital management, travel, freight, and fleet. The role offers high visibility to senior leadership and a clear growth and development path in an invested team
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and develop relationships with new and existing suppliers within the spend category.
Cover large initiatives to focus on driving savings and capturing value
Act as a subject matter expert for business leaders to define best practices, introduce new opportunities, and establish KPI targets.
Takes charge of the end-to-end sourcing events
Draft and review contracts to meet the high-quality standards.
Collaborate with many groups within the organization
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in corporate sourcing/procurement
Experience sourcing and negotiating contracts
Strong experience managing vendor relationships
Motivation to continue growing a strategic sourcing career
