Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Philanthropic Gift Officer at FACE in San Diego, CA. The Senior Philanthropic Gift Officer will be responsible for cultivating relationships with donors, creating fundraising strategies, and soliciting major gifts to support the organization's mission. This role involves coordinating fundraising events, managing donor stewardship programs, and collaborating with the leadership team.
Qualifications
Major Gift Fundraising, Donor Relationship Management, and Fundraising Strategy skills
Experience in soliciting and securing major gifts for non-profit organizations
Event Planning and Management skills
Knowledge of fundraising trends and best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and strategically
Passion for animal welfare and a deep understanding of the organization's mission
Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, Business, or related field
