As a Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Engineer, you will be a part of a larger NDE/metallurgical laboratory inspection team tasked with assuring the quality of mining and construction equipment and components.
You will work in a hands-on NDE role supporting industrial fabrication production and processes. Your scope of responsibilities will include Ultrasonic Testing, Phased Array UT, Radiography, Visual Testing of welds, and Magnetic Particle inspection methods.
You will also support process engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality teams focused on fabrication and casting inspections by creating and maintaining inspection standard work, procedures, process quality metrics, and audit data integrity. The NDE engineer role supports a world-class construction and mining equipment manufacturer, that maintains an ISO accredited certified quality environment. The successful candidate will be trained and certified in Ultrasonic Testing, Phased Array UT, Radiography, Visual Testing of welds, and Magnetic Particle inspection methods in an ISO-certified organization. Once trained, qualified candidates will have inspection responsibilities at customer job sites and/or support domestic and international NDE supplier audits. The candidate will need a passport and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is expected.
Education & Experience Required:
Associate of Applied Science in Nondestructive testing technology or equivalent certifications.
Preferred candidates would have AWS CWI Certification
Preferred candidates would include 3+ years of previous experience
