About the Role:

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinate implementation of requirements for new products to ensure proper production of the material to comply with the customer requirements. Interfaces with suppliers/ customers as required. Active member of the Spec registration process.
  • Responsible for one of the key quality system functions (Change Control Board Coordinator, Incoming materials quality, internal audit coordinator, environmental monitoring, cross site closure, SMRB coordinator, or customer complaint coordinator).
  • Lead Continuous Improvement projects to enhance manufacturing and quality processes.
  • Formulate corrective and prevent actions based on root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate on?line implementation of quality improvement and quality training programs.
  • Coordinates and participates in investigations on customer complaints and improvement plans.
  • Coordinates and participates in investigations on internal issues.
  • Make statistical analysis and develop statistical controls for process parameters.
  • Participate actively in the Excursion Team including disposition of potentially discrepant material following OCAP's, RFC's and DMR's as required.
  • Present 8D analysis and disposition recommendations to Material Review Board.
  • Participates in the implementation and maintenance of the Process Control System PCS.
  • Participates in the Internal Auditing Team and the Change Control Activities of the assigned area.
  • Achieve visual inspection certification.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • Employees are expected to read and follow the environmental and safety (EHS) requirements associated with their assigned duties, complete required EHS training on time, wear prescribed personal protective equipment and report all hazardous situations they observe and any injuries or incidents they experience or become aware of. Employees are expected to fully participate in safety activities, drills and meetings as directed by supervision.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 2+ years equivalent experience as a quality engineer in a manufacturing environment. Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Auditing and ISO/IATF experience desired. Excellent communication skills Microsoft Office and JMP proficiency skills. Statistics, technical report writing and manufacturing.
