About the Role:
Job Title: Business Objects Developer
Day to day:
Design, develop, and maintain Business Objects universes, reports, and dashboards.
Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Integrate Business Objects with data lake technologies (Databricks, Redshift) to enable advanced analytics.
Optimize performance and scalability of Business Objects solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Business Objects applications.
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in Business Objects universe development, Web Intelligence, and reporting tools.
Experience with data lake technologies (Databricks, Redshift, AWS services).
Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
SQL and scripting skills (Python, Bash).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid, 3 days in Office)
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
