We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to support the Chantilly, VA facility and regional area offices. The role is broken down into the following key performance areas: • Provide IT systems administration and information assurance support for various classified systems. • Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), customer data communication networks, operating systems, servers, and various Cisco and Palo Alto network equipment. • Configure and validate information system compliance using DISA STIGs, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC) and STIG Viewer, and other specialized management software. • Work with local ISSO/ISSM on Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages for enterprise architectures in accordance with CFR 32 Part 117/DAAPM, ICD 503/CNSSI 1253, JSIG, NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171 requirements. • Assist local ISSO/ISSM in creation and maintenance of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages, System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports (RARs), Security Controls Traceability Matrices (SCTMs) and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) for all classified systems. • Administer security systems, policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with applicable government and corporate directives, guidelines, and contractual obligations. • Conduct analysis and assessment of the security control assessment guidance, procedures, and templates to ensure correct and uniform implementation of the new RMF assessment processes. • Provide technical oversight for classified system compliance and conduct self-assessments. • Interface directly with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other system sponsoring clients to conduct security inspections, tests, and reviews.
THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED • Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with system administration of moderately complex networked IT systems. • Experience with Linux system administration required. • Must have relevant experience with configuration of network components (i.e. Cisco and Palo Alto switches/routers, firewall administration, etc.) • Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditations preferred.
