The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for the following:
System Administration and Management:
Installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and software.
Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Microsoft Office 365 Administration:
Administering and managing Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Office 365 services.
Implementing and maintaining Office 365 security and compliance policies.
Intune Administration:
Configuring and managing Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
Implementing and enforcing device compliance policies.
Deploying applications and updating through Intune.
User Support:
Providing advanced technical support and guidance to end-users.
Providing escalation support and training to existing helpdesk staff.
Administering user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Security and Compliance:
Implementing and maintaining security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
Ensuring systems comply with organizational and regulatory standards.
Managing and monitoring security alerts and incidents.
Backup and Recovery:
Developing and maintaining backup and recovery procedures.
Ensuring regular backup operations and verify data integrity.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and issues.
Generating regular reports on system performance and health.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration.
Strong experience with Microsoft Intune administration.
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Strong knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Helps Manage Vendors and Subcontractors as needed.
Provides escalation support and training for help desk staff as needed.
Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system.
Microsoft OS, Office, enterprise solutions.
Linux/ Unix OS and solutions based on those OS.
Productivity software (e.g. MS Office, Visio, and Smartsheet).
