Looking for people to Clean, Inspect, Patch and Certify Fiber Optic Cabling for a large Datacenter project.
Required Skills & Experience
1 year of experience working with Fiber Optic cabling and testing
Basic knowledge of fiber optic cable types and connector types
Core Skills: Proper installation and handling of fiber optic cabling
Connecting pre terminated fiber optic cabling to patch panels and High Performance Compute (HPC) systems
Testing fiber optic cabling with Certification Tier I Loss test equipment
Using fiber optic scopes to inspect connector end faces
Understanding of Data Center cabling standards and best practices
Able to lift at least +50 lbs. such as ladders, cabling and other equipment:
Able to climb and work on up to a 10 ft. ladder for extended durations
Able to sit, stand, bend, kneel and/or walk for long periods of time
Available to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when required
Able to travel as needed to Memphis TN, tentative start date October 28, 2024
