Location - 100% Remote (MUST be a Colorado Resident)
Duration - Initial 12 Month Contract (potential for extension)
Pay Rate - $55-60/Hour
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineers, and relevant stakeholders to design applications aligned with department strategies (e.g., Cloud First, Mobile First, Secure Colorado).
Work with Business Analysts, Customers, and Project Managers to assist in the development of project estimates and timelines.
Develop applications according to business requirements using either Agile or Waterfall methodologies, depending on the project needs.
Perform coding (for in-house applications) or configuration management according to best practices and standards, ensuring quality through disciplined unit testing.
Coordinate system updates and releases, contribute to break/fix solutions, and maintain documentation and configuration details throughout the application's lifecycle.
Organize, build, and validate all components of code for final User Acceptance Testing as part of the release process.
Ensure development efforts comply with established service portfolio policies, standards, and guidelines.
Develop application code to meet current requirements while anticipating future enhancement needs.
Recommend improvements to development policies, processes, templates, and procedures to enhance the quality of deliverables.
Collaborate with developers and other department staff in a matrix management environment, following established protocols for engaging additional resources.
Identify innovative solutions to overcome challenges during development, ensuring efficient and effective implementation for customer requirements.
