Mid-Level Wireless Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with up to five years of experience in wireless network engineering who possesses a solid foundation in basic networking principles and a keen interest in advancing within the telecommunications industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain wireless network infrastructure to ensure robust and reliable wireless connectivity.
Perform routine network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks involving routing, switching, and firewall management.
Conduct network tests and assessments to evaluate performance, identify issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network expansion projects, system upgrades, and integration of new technologies.
Document all procedures and maintain accurate records of network configurations, updates, and performance reports.
Triage issues that are reported by the testing team in the Networking Domain.
Help teams in reproducing these issues.
Troubleshoot Embedded Network domain issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a wireless network engineering role.
Proficiency in basic networking skills including routing, switching, and firewall management.
Hands-on experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
Testing experience with wireless networks is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of OpenWrt, OpenSync, DHCP, and DHCPv6 is required.
Experience in triaging and troubleshooting issues within the Networking Domain is essential.
Preferred Skills:
Certifications such as CCNA, CWNA
Experience with industry-standard wireless technologies and protocols.
Knowledge of network security practices and solutions.
