Our client is actively looking for an Scrum Master to join their PMO focused on helping with managing 2 scrum teams focused on software development workstreams. This role is going to be HYBRID (3 days onsite perweek) from Salisbury, NC.
***This is a 6 month contract starting out and will extend in 6 month increments with the eventual goal of taking this position permanent.***
The Scrum Master will be responsible for managing two scrum teams focused on multiple software development workstreams. This will include driving Agile / Scrum Methodologies, acting as a buffer between scrum teams and product owners to maintain a SAFe working working environment, driving the project scope forward, managing project schedules and budgets, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelors Degree is Required
CSM is a plus
Partnering with Product Ownership to ensure the teams have a clear roadmap and healthy backlog
Supports the teams with driving predictable delivery and escalating and driving resolution to impediments
Has experience coaching teams and developing coaching plans based on team assessments
Experience delivering targeted training on key concepts (story mapping / development, estimation best practices, dependency identification and planning alignment, etc.)
And has the presence and communication skills to quickly develop trusted relationships with the team, solution leadership, and IT leaders. As well as the ability to clearly articulate challenges the teams are facing and help them improve their ways of working.
