Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking a motivated Smart 3Dx Application Development Intern for the summer of 2025. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the next generation of Drawings and Reports in Hexagon’s Smart 3Dx application, working closely with development teams in a dynamic, agile environment. The selected intern will gain hands-on experience with innovative software tools and processes, contributing to projects that enhance efficiency and automation in product development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in automating existing manual workflows within the Continuous Integration process to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with experienced developers and contribute to programming tasks and projects.
• Work alongside teams to support the development of new features and improvements for the Smart 3Dx application.
• Participate in team discussions, providing input and learning about software design and development best practices.

Education / Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
• Familiarity with .NET, C#, WPF, and MSSQL Server Database is preferred.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach to work.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
