Bright Minds' global manufacturing client is searching for a Continuous Improvement Manager in Tulsa, OK. This exciting opportunity is with a high-growth company rapidly expanding their Tulsa-area operations. Looking for a skilled leader with 5+ years of management experience who is passionate about leading CI engineers and implementing modern continuous improvement processes.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and communicate a strategy for Lean manufacturing implementation.
Set expectations for a culture of continuous improvement.
Drive initiatives to improve costs, quality, and service, supporting business results.
Identify and lead process improvement projects and workshops to drive cultural change.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot manufacturing and business issues.
Collect and analyze data to support process mapping, budgeting, and project feasibility.
Implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, 5S, Lean, OEE).
Track downtime, analyze data, and collaborate with management to create improvement plans.
Provide leadership and planning for technical training and team development.
Collaborate with business leaders to prioritize and support cost-saving programs.
Use data-driven analysis to review processes, detect issues, and assess project ROI.
Influence and motivate teams to implement process improvements and reduce defects.
Ensure quality standards and monitor work in accordance with the company's Quality Plan.
Perform project management to execute process improvement projects effectively.
Foster team collaboration to reduce waste and improve productivity.
Experience:
B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical) or similar technical field is required
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing management required
Prior training and certification in Lean Six Sigma as a Green Belt, Black Belt or higher preferred
Basic understanding of chemical/mechanical process equipment including pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, etc.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Capable of leading a multi-disciplined multi-level team to drive progress
Work well in a team and matrix environment, balance multiple projects, and ability to make effective written and verbal presentations
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other basic computer applications is required
Preferred experience in data analysis and statistics, including Minitab or other statistical software
