FLSA Status: Full Time / Exempt Location: Brannan Lipan Plant, 5880 Lipan St., Denver, CO 80216 Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
Position Summary: Ensure all BSG Asphalt Division trucking requirements are met each day. This includes trucking needs for Asphalt Plant Operations, Paving Operations, Patching Operations, Milling Operations, Grading / Aggregate Base, Brannan Construction, Brannan Sites Sweeping and Brannan Sites Dust Control. Understands haul costs and tons per hour to meet or beat budget.
Core Responsibilities: • Schedules and dispatches daily trucking needs for paving, milling, road base, & patch crews on all dispatching platforms. • Schedules trucking needs for Brannan Construction Division. • Modifying day of schedules, rerouting trucks as needed. • Daily monitoring of job performance through XBE. • Creating Incident Reports on jobs where haulers are underperforming. • Generates monthly & yearly trucking performance reports for Transportation Manager. • Reviews trucking report cards in XBE & schedules best external performers first. • Ability to communicate with and keep track of entire private hauler fleet. • Creates and distributes daily schedule and adjusts as needed. • Creates timecard and time sheets for all internal BSG trucks.
Qualifications: • 3 - 5 years logistics dispatching or related experience. • Local geographic knowledge of the Denver metro area with ability to read maps and understand GPS systems. • Display a professional and courteous attitude toward co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times. • Strong phone/email skills and strong ability to multi-task • Strong technical skills required, including proficiency with dispatch routing software, along with high level of accuracy with data entry. • Bilingual - English/Spanish. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must have a valid driver's license, clean MVR and reliable transportation.
