Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from initiation through delivery.
- Develop project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and contractors.
Design & Engineering:
- Oversee and participate in the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems, equipment, and components.
- Create and review detailed mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and documentation.
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure design integrity, safety, and efficiency.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
Quality Assurance & Testing:
- Implement and monitor quality control processes for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Oversee testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Lead root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for any design or manufacturing defects.
Budgeting & Cost Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions are identified and implemented.
- Track project expenses and ensure all financial targets are met or adjusted as needed.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with other departments, including electrical, civil, and software engineers, to integrate mechanical designs into larger systems.
- Present project updates, designs, and technical information to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and components, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
Health & Safety:
- Ensure that all engineering work adheres to company and industry health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Identify potential hazards in the design and implementation of mechanical systems and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or professional engineering (PE) certification is a plus.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or project engineering roles
