The Accounts Receivable team at Ria Operations Hub in Buena Park supports Ria Money Transfer, a world-class FinTech with a multicultural team where diversity is not just a buzzword. The Accounts Receivable department is seeking to backfill a position on the Mexico team, providing assistance to our agencies and branches. This position requires an analytical, self-disciplined person with determination and a positive attitude. This is an entry- to mid-level position.

Responsibilities:

  • Make collections calls and collect on past-due balances.
  • Develop strong customer-focused, high service-level relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department.
  • Provide ad-hoc information and data analysis as requested.
  • Meet established timelines and predefined goals for assigned work.
  • Resolve AR account conflicts to ensure agencies get back on track to be productive Ria agents.
  • Analyze customer accounts for skipped or partial payments, or customer errors, and contact customers immediately to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Perform accounts receivable analysis and reporting.
  • Generate AR aging reports and identify critical issues.
  • Contact customers via phone, email, and fax to collect past-due amounts. Identify reasons for non-payment and develop strategic plans with management to resolve issues, including coordinating onsite visits with the International Ria Sales Team if necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Vietnamese, Filipino, French, Spanish, and advanced English is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a contact center environment, handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Solid mathematical and computer skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, effective verbal and listening skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work from the office with a business casual dress code.

Salary

The base hourly range for this position is $25.00. Actual starting compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, and skills.
