Job Description:
Hiring for PCB Manufacturing Engineer to join the team and help, particularly with traveling to suppliers and helping with engineering issues!
Mission: To help the PCB manufacturing teams to ensure the PCBs can get manufactured.
Title: PCB Engineer Location: Redmond, WA Duration: 12 months Day to Day Responsibilities: 3 categoriesDMF portion; ensuring that they are designed for manufacturing correctly
- Ensuring correct spacing, design, etc
- Participating is design, but not too much actual engineering work
Doing root-cause analysis or trouble shooting PCBs and the manufacturing process
- Figure out what went wrong
- Work with manufacturing to correct
Supplier qualification
- Provide input to the sourcing manager, quality teams, and suppliers about the PCBs
- Working with other teams
- Some work with suppliers directly as well
Travel
- Visiting suppliers in Taiwan and Korea as a team
- Up to 50% travel
