Essential Responsibilities:
  • Verification of marked components and the ability to distinguish between part markings, date codes, and lot codes.
  • Experience with IATF 16949 system / Quality system / Customer or internal audit and part of time in IQC
  • Read and understand the datasheets attached to the IQC database.
  • Label creation
  • How to verify and handle Sensitive components
  • How to find and verify a certificate of compliance.
  • Understand terminology used in work instructions
  • Know when to contact Engineering for assistance.
  • Know what documentation is required when a component does not meet specifications.
  • Serve as the liaison for materials and IQC concerns, issue resolution, and improvement activities.
  • Review and approve Supplier Organizational Change notifications and Requests.
  • Team with global partners to generate global specifications for first of a kind material.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to provide an organized and safe working environment at all times.
  • Regular attendance by the employee is required to meet quality goals and customer commitments.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned by the Engineer, Team Leader, or Quality Manager.

Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Electronic Engineering, related field of study, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in electronic field
  • Self-motivation, dependability, and work with minimal direction
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work optimally with multi-functional teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good organization and multi-tasking skills and excellent attention to detail
  • May be required to lift 40lbs periodically.
  • Must be able to work independently and safely at all times.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information.
