As a Licensing Administrator, a typical day would include:
Resolving traffic citations by, responding to the issuing entity and/or invoicing customer, as needed.
Assisting in trailer sales by releasing titles and cancelling registration on sold equipment. (trailer sales also includes working with finance companies and branch personnel to get the proper documentation needed to fund the sale. Providing documentation to the field as requested by the purchaser, and ensuring we have the require documentation to transfer ownership to the purchaser as required in certain states.
Coordinate and maintain titles and registrations for all XTRA Lease equipment
Ensuring the accuracy of VIN numbers and associated license plates. maintaining the accuracy of data utilized by the organization and customers. - both documents and electronic data.
Communicating with external customers and internal departments regarding citations, licensing, registration, and sales
Researching state specific requirements related to licensing and registration.
Assisting related departments as necessary.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience in administrative roles OR HS diploma with at least 4 years of experience in administrative roles.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft and Excel.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Access
Ability to work independently and multitask with a strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Previous experience coordinating vehicle title and licensing in a vehicle auction, car rental, or other large fleet setting preferred, but not necessary.
