Seeking an Underwriter to join a dynamic team. This individual will price and place renewal business while ensuring the accuracy of the policy issuance, as well as outside vendor's policies.
About the Role:
Duties include:
Underwriting authority up to policy limits.
Ensure submissions reflect renewal business guidelines.
Evaluate supporting underwriting documentation to make informed risk assessments and decisions.
Maintain quality control with customer service representative of policy issuance.
Review and follow up for loss control recommendations.
Responsible for file maintenance and completeness.
Participate on policy and claims committee meetings.

Must Haves Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in underwriting- especially in property and liability
Ability to work hybrid or remote with occasional office visits
salary: $70k-$80k based on experience and duties of the role
