You are a mandated reporter. Report suspected cases of child abuse and/or neglect in accordance with the requirements of Statute 51A.8. Arrange emergency medical treatment and first aid as required, including notification of parents, medical staff and DEEC.9. Always provide and ensure effective supervision and safety of all children.10. Familiarize yourself with your families, knowing names, basic cultural and prominent family beliefs which may impact your work with them.11. Maintain effective relations with families through daily and informal contacts12.
