This facility is a highly automated meat processing/packaging facility located in Kansas City, KS.


Position Summary

• Operator Care-Basic lubrication, inspection adjustments, repairs, cleaning (CLAIR LEAN Manufacturing- Contribute to a continuous improvement environment by participating in activities to include line side problem-solving.
  
  

• 5S program (Andon System Stoplight)- Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
  
  

• Physical lifting/moving, bending to stock material from inventory location to robotic equipment (Min 25 LBS).
  
  

• Perform perfect packaging checks.
  
  

• Safely and efficiently resolve jam-ups and equipment malfunctions.
  
  

• Identify material quality defects and take appropriate action.
  
  

• Weigh rework using a floor scale and Human Machine Interface (HMI) workstation.
  
  

• Operate handheld digital scanner.
  
  

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.




Requirements





Minimum 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years.

• This position will be exposed to a cold/damp work environment with temperatures ranging from 28-42 degrees.


• Must be willing and able to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.


• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and requires repetitive motions.


• Must be able to stand, bend, reach overhead, and twist for long periods.


• Must be willing and able to stand 8-12 hours a day on a hard floor.


• 
  To be considered, the applicant must have one month of previous experience listed in work history.
