Our client builds and provides accounting products for top-tier startups and companies. They already have over 200+ top startups across fintech, AI and healthcare and are only getting started. They are well funded, profitable, growing rapidly, and rolling out multiple new product streams.
The Role:
As the Founding Full Stack Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our client's product development, working closely with the founding team to build and scale the platform. You'll have full ownership over the tech stack, driving both frontend and backend development, and ensuring our client's systems are robust, secure, and scalable. You'll be working as the client's independent contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of our core product from concept to production, working across both the frontend and backend.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Take ownership of the entire development process, from system design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
Build and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
Contribute to and drive best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Mentor and potentially lead future developers as the team grows.
RequiredQualifications:
5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
3+ years of experience working with Python and Typescript.
3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including managing services and deployments.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js for building modern, scalable web applications.
Strong understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, architectures, and patterns.
Familiarity with cloud-native application design, microservices, and serverless architecture.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Ability to manage DevOps tasks, including CI/CD, monitoring, and scaling applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
