3D CAD Designer
We are currently looking for a 3D CAD Designer to design and deliver 3D models of BioSpherix products. The candidate will be responsible for all associated documentation for equipment design, including creating, updating, and modifying drawings and programs for the CNC router.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This is an ONSITE position in Parish, NY.
Remote work is not possible for this position.
Creates, modifies and organizes required 3D technical drawings for equipment design using CAD software per establish standards with respect to order, clarity, style, terminology and sequencing.
Maintain records and files of work and revisions for drawings and CNC programs.
Creates, modifies and organizes required CNC programs for equipment design utilizing 3D CAD software per established standards.
Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology and production sequences in detail.
Interview production, quality, sales, service, and engineering personnel to ensure changes to programs, product and product technologies are captured, documented, and filed.
Determine the need for and create revisions in previously published and newly developed drawings.
Perform related duties as needed by management.
Skills
Experience in using 3D CAD software. Preference to individuals that have SolidWorks experience.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11.
The principles of CNC routing.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted during assignments, both internal and external customers.
Work with minimal supervision.
Exercise independent initiative and judgment.
Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to producing quality product; deadline conscious.
Education and Experience
Requires two (2) years of coursework in Engineering, CAD or a related field from an accredited college, technical school, or university, and one (1) year of professional CAD experience.
