We are currently working with a global organization that has grown to be a clear market leader in their materials niche. Due to growth, this company is doubling down and investing in their talent. They are looking to hire a Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement. This person will have the ability to come into the role and make changes where needed and be a key part of the Supply Chain team and the planned growth.
Scope of Responsibility:
Identify and develop key suppliers to ensure cost management and service levels.
Work closely with all corporate functions to improve communication and spend across the company.
Be a leader in change management for the team.
Work on leveraging international supplier relationships and spend across regions.
Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals.
Optimize procurement processes and reduce lead times.
Develop KPIs and analytics within the organization to improve decision making.
Deliver cost savings and align with the budget and financial goals of the Company.
Demonstrate the ability to build and develop key supplier relationships.
Background Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
Strong experience in MRO, CapEx and Energy contracts.
Experience in change management and working on transformation projects within Procurement.
At least 8 years of procurement experience and 3 specifically with Indirect Sourcing, including 5 years of team management experience.
Proven track record in achieving cost savings and enhancing supplier portfolios through effective sourcing.
Strong negotiation skills, particularly in supplier sourcing.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to travel up to 20%, and 30% for the first year possibly.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation $165,000 plus a 15% Bonus. Can be higher for the right candidate.
