Job Description:

This is a 4 to 5 month contract assignment as a Human Resources Business Partner responsible for providing HR support to US based corporate functions teams at mid-sized manufacturing organization. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that will provide the opportunity to collaborate and act as a trusted, strategic partner to our corporate leadership teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide HR solutions support, process knowledge advice and consultation to functional leaders and their teams.
  • Coach management team on leadership and HR issues including application of HR policies and processes.
  • Partner with leadership, HR and other key stakeholders as appropriate to shape culture and drive employee engagement
  • Implement large scale initiatives (roll out annual programs, new programs/policies, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Center of Excellence partners to execute and implement HR initiatives.
  • Translate business plans into critical HR actions, programs and initiatives.
  • Utilize data to solve complex business issues and provide recommendations to leaders.
  • Communicate complex information in an understandable, organized, concise manner.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and bring to resolution.

Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 8+ years in Human Resources
  • Experience working in a multi-location, global, matrix'd organization
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Proven analytical capabilities
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task and follow up on projects and issues
  • Proven project and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and bias for action
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs
