The Marketing Manager leads a department in the development and implementation of branding, advertising, digital and social media, education and community relations programs that differentiates them from competitors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops and maintains creative branding, marketing, social media and outreach programs that promote and celebrate company products, programs and services, attract customers from diverse backgrounds and grows membership.
  • Ensure the Marketing department operates effectively, efficiently and facilitates day-to-day department operations and guarantees performance standards are met. Ensures that information for newsletters, promotions/advertising, and media/customer inquiries are received and delivered according to procedure.
  • Acts as primary contact for public relations, with special interest groups and media in a manner that strengthens the company image.
  • Remains current with marketing needs for the Board of Directors in a manner that meets expectations and governance responsibilities.
  • Under the direction of the executive leaders, develops and creates tactical plans, goals, and objectives that align with the organizational strategy.
  • Directs the work and oversees the implementation of creative funding strategies, maintenance of the community donation and outreach programs and activities,
  • Public relations and networking; overseeing internal and external communications that strengthen community partnerships.

SKILLS & QUALIFICIATIONS
  • 2-3 years of experience in department management.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, advertising, media and public relations.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or public relations.
  • Portfolio showcasing creating and producing print and digital advertisements that support a brand and marketing strategy.
  • Demonstrated superior oral and written communication ability and able to work with diverse communities.
  • Experience with graphics and print media software and equipment such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop).
  • Experience with content management systems; WordPress and Google Analytics.
